In consistent with the Employees’ Compensation Ordinance, Chapter 282 of the Laws of Hong Kong, our policy covers the employer’s legal liabilities both under the Ordinance and at common law for injuries, diseases and deaths at work in respect of all their employees, arising out of and in the course of the employees’ employment.

Important Notes

The employers must provide a detailed declaration to the insurer on all employees, including their total annual earnings, occupations and place of employment.
Should there is any changes about the information, the employers should notify the insurer accordingly as soon as possible.

Major Exclusions

  • Any liability of the Insured which attaches by virtue of an agreement but which would not have attached in the absence of such agreement;
  • The Insured’s liability to any person who is not an employee of the Insured within the meaning of the Ordinance;
  • Any liability arising from Pneumoconiosis or Mesothelioma or Noise-Induced Deafness;
  • Any sum which the Insured would have been entitled to recover from any party but for an agreement between the Insured and such party.
